Soul Eater Not! is a part of of soul Eater anime but it's have different main character. You can call it filler episodes but main characters are different. 

It's about one weapon human and two weapon meisters.  1st day of school three of them meet and share same room in girls hostel. The weapon human difficult in choosing her meisters. They are newly enrolled to DWMA and their journey of 1st year. in this anime their firsts day to the weapon and meister relationship is shown. This ane also tell us about the other functions and  internal bodies of school such as NOT (normally overcome targets) and EAT ( especially advance talent) this girls are students of NOT whereas orginal anime characters are EAT. They are also seen in this anime. This is story starts before Sid one of the teacher (if you see soul Eater then you know him) become zombie and this series tell us how he become zombie which is not explain in main anime. This anime also consist about frankenstein how he become teacher. Also have the back story of patty and liza. 

Although it's more funny and entertaining than main story. You totally going to enjoy this anime.

Some epsiodes are really to good and funny. I enjoy my time watching it. 

It's also about friendship, caring, Love and life.

I totally recommend it but make sure you had watched soul eater 2008 watch first then this story make the scene.
